Pneumatic Torque Tool
The pneumatic Torque Tool (pTT) is designed to be operated as a standalone tool, making it perfect for SIT and topside use. It has a multi-interface setup to meet several referenced standards.
The base unit is set up with interface (nose):
– API 17H (short) / API 17D 1st edition.
The pTT display gives full control of torque and turns, allowing the operator to set correct values to avoid overloading the object in operation. Torque accuracy is within 5% throughout the scale.
The tool can be operated through the customized Depro Pneumatic Control Unit (PCU). Each torque tool is calibrated at delivery.
