Electrical Tether Management System
This is the third generation of a fully electrically powered and controlled Tether Management System (eTMS) for ROV systems.
The system includes a winch, tether tension control, tether winder, and a docking/locking system for the ROV. The eTMS is fitted with an onboard control system with sensors and instrumentation to ensure safe and reliable operation.
The control system optimizes tether handling through precise adjustment of tether tension and drum speed, with parameters easily managed via the HMI interface. A topside HMI system is delivered with the eTMS and can be seamlessly integrated into the ROV control system.
